Our blog has been a bit neglected recently, one reason for this has been the huge amount of work we have been doing for FM Estates.

FM Estates are a local Estates Agents based in Riviera del Sol who specialise in property sales in the areas of Riviera del Sol, Miraflores, Torrenueva and Calahonda on the Mijas Costa, Costa del Sol in Spain.

We have done a complete overall of their branding, although we have kept the original FM Estates logo we designed for them back in July 08.

The first port of call was their website www.fmestates.com. Although there is still work to be done on the site (on both their end and ours) the basics are now there. On the website at the moment you can find a full property search, a weather feed, updates from their latest twitter feed, various styled content pages and a number of features that have been included to help with their SEO.

Once the website re-designed had been completed we went on to re-design their business cards, the property listing flyer and all their company stationary.

Since then we have designed and co-ordinated a company sign they have outside Miraflores Club House, the signing of their car and created them a company blog.

We are now working to further improve their website as well as continuing to work on their SEO and social networking.

At the moment FM Estates can be found on facebook and twitter with plans to set up a LinkedIn page in the near future.

We are really enjoying this work, as it’s great to work on a project were you can deal with all aspects of a company’s branding, design and marketing. We hope you like the work we have created for them (click here to check out their website) we do!

Our latest website went live today for VIME Hotels & Resorts who are based in Marbella on the Costa del Sol, Spain. You can see the website at www.vidavime.com

The website is in Norwegian and English and we are very happy with the final design, functionality and usability of the site. It has some lovely little features like a weather feed on the homepage, a great flash image gallery and location map.

The site has been designed and built with SEO in mind and part of the project brief included us completing some basic SEO for the client during the build process.

We are really happy to be able to add this project to our every growing portfolio of work.

Our latest website, for Confeti Magazine, launched today. Confeti Magazine are a specialist wedding magazine based on the Costa del Sol, in Spain and you can see their new website at www.confetimagazine.com

We love the romantic, soft, elegant look and feel of this website. Bits of functionality we like on this website include the Javascript ‘Latest News’ box on the homepage, the ebooks in the ‘Back Issues’ section and the option for users to buy the magazines via Paypal in the ‘Buy Online’ section. The site also has a neat little address book with all the contact details of the magazines’ advertisers.

The web site has been built within the Joomla CMS and is SEO friendly. We also completed some basic SEO for the client during the build process.

We are really love this website and are happy to be able to add this project to our every growing portfolio of work.

After months (and we really do mean months) of work on our new company website the site has finally gone live at http://www.aqua-creative.com/

We realised pretty early on last year that with all the work we had on we were finding it increasingly hard to keep our main company website updated with our latest work. Hence part of the reason for us launching this blog at the beginning of 2009.

Our blog has been a great way to keep everyone who is interested, up-to-date on what we are up to on a regular basis, but of course we knew we still needed to keep our main website updated more frequently. So we decided the best way to do this was to put the static main website into a CMS. At the end of 2009 we began to put our website into Joomla, and of course as designers we thought this would be the ideal time to re-design!

Although most of the work on our new website was completed by Feb of 2010, due to the large amount of clients’ work we had on, we were finding it increasingly hard to get the time to complete it. Plus we agreed it would make sense to wait a bit longer and add some of our more recent projects, which had been keeping us so busy, to the portfolio of our work.

So, after 6 months of hard work, we are over the moon and extremely relieved, to finally see the website go live.

On top of the 2 major changes to our new website (the redesign and the CMS) we have added various bits of functionality which we are very happy with.

On our homepage we now have a very large banner at the top of the page allowing us to truly showcase some of our favourite and latest work. We also have a flash scroller of some of our other favourite / most recent projects further down the page, to highlight to our potential clients the work we are able to produce.

This website is more focused on social networking than our last. We have a feed from our Twitter account on our homepage so, as soon as our users come to our site, they can see what we are up to on a more up-to-date basis. And of course we also promote the other social networking platforms of Facebook and LinkedIn that we can be found on.

We have a selection of quotes from the testimonials our client have written us and we have made contacting us even easier, by not only having our contact details on every page but allowing our users to contact us via MSN and Skype.

Throughout the site we have made use of some nice little bits of functionality. We particularly like the smooth scrolling effect of our ‘back to top’ button and the javascript effect on the ‘our work’ page.

It probably goes without saying that the new site has been created and built with SEO in mind.

Our latest website went live today for law firm GCLA Abogados based in Puerto Banus on the Costa del Sol, Spain. You can see it at www.gcla.es

The website is in English and Spanish and we love the soft, clean feel that it has.

Today we were happy to have received word from law firm García Caracuel & López Fernández, Abogados based in Puerto Banus on the Costa del Sol, confirming they would like to commission us to create their new corporate identity, company website and A5 booklet.

GCLA found our company online through a search engine, after an initial meeting with them and supplying them with an estimate for the work we discussed, they have decided to go ahead and use our company. We are looking forward to working with this young, fresh and friendly group of lawyers.

Features we like on this website include the javascript based scrolling testimonials box that can be found on the left hand side of the website and the accordion feature on the About Us page.

The website has been designed with SEO in mind and allows for a Spanish version of the website to be created, which will happen once we have received the copy from the clinet.

We love the strong, bold, professional look and feel this website has and believe it represents the strengths of this particularly company perfectly. We are happy to say the client feels the same way as you can see from the testimonial they wrote us.

Today at Aqua Creative we are celebrating our 2nd birthday. It has been a tough couple of years, what with the economic climate as it has been, but we are proud to be able to say we are still here on the Costa del Sol and going strong.
