After months (and we really do mean months) of work on our new company website the site has finally gone live at http://www.aqua-creative.com/

We realised pretty early on last year that with all the work we had on we were finding it increasingly hard to keep our main company website updated with our latest work. Hence part of the reason for us launching this blog at the beginning of 2009.

Our blog has been a great way to keep everyone who is interested, up-to-date on what we are up to on a regular basis, but of course we knew we still needed to keep our main website updated more frequently. So we decided the best way to do this was to put the static main website into a CMS. At the end of 2009 we began to put our website into Joomla, and of course as designers we thought this would be the ideal time to re-design!

Although most of the work on our new website was completed by Feb of 2010, due to the large amount of clients’ work we had on, we were finding it increasingly hard to get the time to complete it. Plus we agreed it would make sense to wait a bit longer and add some of our more recent projects, which had been keeping us so busy, to the portfolio of our work.

So, after 6 months of hard work, we are over the moon and extremely relieved, to finally see the website go live.

On top of the 2 major changes to our new website (the redesign and the CMS) we have added various bits of functionality which we are very happy with.

On our homepage we now have a very large banner at the top of the page allowing us to truly showcase some of our favourite and latest work. We also have a flash scroller of some of our other favourite / most recent projects further down the page, to highlight to our potential clients the work we are able to produce.

This website is more focused on social networking than our last. We have a feed from our Twitter account on our homepage so, as soon as our users come to our site, they can see what we are up to on a more up-to-date basis. And of course we also promote the other social networking platforms of Facebook and LinkedIn that we can be found on.

We have a selection of quotes from the testimonials our client have written us and we have made contacting us even easier, by not only having our contact details on every page but allowing our users to contact us via MSN and Skype.

Throughout the site we have made use of some nice little bits of functionality. We particularly like the smooth scrolling effect of our ‘back to top’ button and the javascript effect on the ‘our work’ page.

It probably goes without saying that the new site has been created and built with SEO in mind.

The Apex Initiative is a leading provider of global business to business events and the website we created for them went live today.

We love the subtle flash animation on the site, the branded wallpaper effect in the banner area of the website, the roll over functionality on the list of events to the left of the majority of pages and the use of lightbox functionality used in ‘The Events’ section. We are also very happy that we got to create all the vector art work / icons on the website, allowing us to showcase other area of our design capabilities.

This makes for yet another project that we are happy and proud to be able to add into our portfolio of work.

Our latest website went live today for law firm GCLA Abogados based in Puerto Banus on the Costa del Sol, Spain. You can see it at www.gcla.es

The website is in English and Spanish and we love the soft, clean feel that it has.

The site has been designed and built with SEO in mind and part of the project brief included us completing some basic SEO for the client during the build process.

We are happy to be able to add this project to our portfolio of work and more importantly we are please to say the clients are also happy, not only with the design work we have delivered them but also with the service they have received, as you can see from the testimonial they have written us.

The website we have designed and built for GCE Lawyers / Abogados based in Marbella on the Costa del Sol went live today on http://www.gceabogados.com

Features we like on this website include the javascript based scrolling testimonials box that can be found on the left hand side of the website and the accordion feature on the About Us page.

The website has been designed with SEO in mind and allows for a Spanish version of the website to be created, which will happen once we have received the copy from the clinet.

We love the strong, bold, professional look and feel this website has and believe it represents the strengths of this particularly company perfectly. We are happy to say the client feels the same way as you can see from the testimonial they wrote us.

Our latest website went live today, for Fiduciary Wealth Management Ltd and you can see it at www.fiduciarywealth.eu

This is a CMS based website, built within the Joomla Open Source system. It has within it a WordPress powered blog, different colour sections and a contact form that updates an excel spreadsheet with all the website leads.

We also completed some basic SEO for the client during the build process and built the website with search engine friendly urls.

We feel this website will be an asset to our portfolio and we are really happy with it and we are also pleased to report so is the client who had written us a testimonial for our work before we pressed the ‘Live’ button.

The Spanish version of the MB Hormigo website finally went live today at http://www.mbhormigo.com/inicio.html. This now completes the scope of work for this company.

The new MB Hormigo website in English is now live at http://www.mbhormigo.com. We are really happy with the design of this site, it’s striking, strong and bold, as we feel a website in construction should be! We are also very happy with the use of texture on this particular site. We are looking forward to seeing the results of the initial SEO work we have completed on this project.

We are now waiting on the translation of the site to be delivered so we can put the Spanish version of the website live.
