Very excited to see this morning we are now top of google.com for most of the searches we wanted to be, these being… Web Design Costa del Sol, Web Design Marbella, Graphic Design Costa del Sol and Graphic Design Marbella.

Again we are very excited about this, but we are not taking these slots for granted, as we know how quickly they can change, so now our mission is to try and stay there. Hopefully all our social networking work and blog will help us to do this. Time will tell…

We have decided to update our website blog to work through WordPress. WordPress is the largest self-hosted blogging tool in the world, used on hundreds of thousands of sites (including word press users CNN and Yahoo to name but 2) and seen by tens of millions of people every day. By harnessing the power of WordPress it means our blog entries can be added to our website via a CMS (rather than having to manually update the content) and can be updated by anyone we have set up with a login.

WordPress has some really powerful features and we are really impressed with its functionality, flexibility and ease of use. Our new blog will include the use of a bespoke design, key words, categories, user comments and our favourite, the photo blog.

The blog is all ready to go live, we just want to add some more content and personalise the service further before we flick the switch, so watch this space…

We have been working closely with FM Estates on different ways to market their businesses. Today they have started a new email campaign and are sending out an email to all their contacts.

I have been working with them on the concept for the email, who they want to target and what they want to achieve from the campaign. After working with them on the copy, we designed the email for them and got it ready and set up on their computers, for them to send out to their personal list of contacts.

The aim of this email is to create an interest in their business, the properties they have on their books (including some of their reduced priced listing) and to drive traffic to their website, which in turn will also help with the SEO of their site.

The design of the new shop sign for Kings Salon has been signed off, we have meet with the client and signdsign (who are going to print the sign) and the design files have been handed over. Now just a case of waiting to see the final product…

We finally got all our Linkedin profiles updated today.

Linked is ‘an interconnected network of experienced professionals from around the world, representing 170 industries and 200 countries’

According to the Press Section of the linkedin website…
• LinkedIn has over 39 million members in over 200 countries and territories around the world.
• A new member joins LinkedIn approximately every second, and about half of our members are outside the U.S.
• Executives from all Fortune 500 companies are LinkedIn members.

I have actively kept my Linkedin profile updated since I joined in 2005 so only needed to update a few areas, but Lee’s Linkedin profile needed a thorough updating.
