After months of hard work on the SEO of our re-designed website we are finally coming up where we wanted to on google.com for ‘web design Marbella’ – towards the top of the page 1, position two to be precise.

We are very excited about this and now have the task of staying there (and hopefully eventually moving into position one). We are also very happy with our position for other searches, like graphic design Marbella, graphic design Costa del Sol and web design Costa del Sol, to name but a few.

The trick is now staying at / near the top and of course climbing up in positions where we are not already at the top. SEO is definitely a never ending (but not thankless) task.

I went to Boyd’s Fitness Centre in The Sunset beach hotel in Benalmadena today. We did some work for them last year which included creating their logo and website. They had been reforming the gym over the Christmas season and it was the first time I had seen it since the new look. The gym looks amazing, really modern and friendly and it’s a true reflection of the professional, friendly service you get from Rebecca, Rob and all the team at Boyd’s. It was lovely to see the use of their logo on all their signs and t-shirts. It’s a great feeling to walk into a place and see something you have created being put to such great use.

Since the launch of our new website and the installation of Google Analytics, those of us in the Aqua Creative office (i.e. me and Lee) have gone a bit statics obsessed.
We are really happy to see so many people clicking through to have a look at the website and getting to see what part of the world everyone has come from, how people are staying on our website and lots more fun web statistics! We recommend Google Analytics to anyone who has a website and wants to see what words people are typing in to find their website, how many returning visitors they have, what pages people are looking at the most and for how long etc.

Today we picked up the January edition of the Essential Marbella, the Costa del Sol’s most popular free glossy lifestyle magazine. Our client Reinier, from Home Exposure Marbella, had a full page ad that we designed for him in the magazine, along with an editorial page about Home Exposure. It’s always nice to see our graphic design work in print, especially when it’s in such a reputable publication.
